(For Helena’s husband Eric)
1 1/2 cups raw nuts or roasted nuts (almonds work well)
3 tablespoons Sweet Chile Sauce (available at Asian grocery, will vary depending on chili sauce heat, they vary greatly)
1 tablespoon Low Sodium Soy sauce
Heat a wok or frying pan over medium heat with a thin layer of Canola oil. Toss in nuts to coat with oil and brown lightly.
Pan roast until they smell yummy. Add sauces and caramelize gently for a few minutes until nuts are covered with a glaze.
Salt lightly if desired and eat while watching t.v.
Kinda like a spicy sweet candied nut.
